ah I'm not a fan of the XD series. I was looking into them heavily along with the M&P and the Glock. M&P being my favorite of the three. the XD just has too many unnecessary "safety" features and not enough perks for me. I ended up with the glock because I wanted a Simple no frills pistol that looked good and parts were plentiful. if **** hit the fan I know I could find a glock part anywhere not that any of the pistols would break but should they. Plus I got a brand new gen4 23 Blue lable for the amazing price of $420 vs the retail of the glock at ~540 or the disgusting price that bass pro is asking of well over $600.

For me the XD won out over the Glock only due to how it felt in my hands while fireing it. If im droping cash on something it better "feel" right in my hands.

The glock grip isn't for everyone haha the gen 4 helps tho with it having different back straps. I personally love it. Other than the lil knotch on the trigger guard but that's easily fixed with a lol sanding to smooth it.

You can rent one. If you have it with the proper cups its super easy to do just press them out and press them in
