LAS VEGAS XJ GROUP-----> 1st ROLL CALL.
wish I would have seen this earlier. I got bored today and since I needed to measure for bump stops I decided to take a trip out to apex
so flexed it out,

I desperately need longer front shocks, but the rears are pretty much spot on. that right rear is about half inch off the ground and the left is fully stuffed into the fender. I want to add 2 hocky pucks to the bump plates so about 2 inches of bump stop to get that tire out of the fender a lil. even without bumpstops my shocks could still be longer, I have about 3 inches of lift with 4-6" lift shocks I dont remember the measurements but with the added bumpstop i could safely fit 1" longer compressed shock so thats like 1- 1.5 more droop. Since Im gonna be swaping in a 8.8 soon I can just build that difference into the lower shock mounts, raise them up an inch and get them out of the way a bit. I dont think thats half bad for the $60 bucks Iv invested between the shackles and shocks everyting else is stock and the brake line was free.
full stuff

full droop

as far as the front, well im running 2in lift shocks on 4 inches of lift. I need to add 3 or so inches of bump stop so I can stop slamming my track bar into my diff cover when i compress both off the wheels. then i can measure for shocks and start trimming and rebuilding the wheel wells to fit those tires.
then came the fun, I found this lil pit. the pic doesnt do the depth justice. I instantly knew I had to drive through it haha

and here is a good reason not to have doors, I would have scraped it if i did have one haha

and some more
almost scraped the bumper going up this one, I wanted to so I would have a reason to order a new one

Wish I could go play! Rear diff is about to grenade anytime now. The pinion bearing is grinding louder and louder every day. So if anyone knows of a C8.25 for sale, please let me know. Gonna hit up the JY this weekend to see if they have any available.

True. It's 2k to rebuild the front and rear. Complete with 4.56 and lockers.
And with Christmas coming up, 3 kids get 90% of the gifts lol. The other 10% is my wifes.
If it goes, it goes. I've driven 16k miles already since I heard it making noise haha.

I was wondering if it will fit in the back also. He's sending me pics this morning so if it looks decent, not torn part, I'm gonna get it.
I need new rear brakes anyways so this makes it easier
