By the sounds of how easy this trail is, you won't need a front driveshaft...lol.Originally Posted by popcancherokee

If the wife was not going I would not need a front drive line v-8 power baby..But she will go so I think a front drive would at least make her happy.and she will let me take it.I took it out once before to help a friend out and put a dent in it and still here about it 5 years later...But we do have full coverage insurence on it.Originally Posted by BuckB91XJ

Bill, I like your plan. Can we nail down some of the details like:
Do you want to do the run on Saturday or Sunday? Saturday works better for me...LOL, I'm old and I like to have Sunday to rest up before heading back to work on Monday.
Does meeting up at the Bonney Lake Fred Meyer parking lot work for you or is there somewhere else you would rather meet up?

Oh yeah and what time do we want to give as a "hit the road from Bonney Lake" time?
Hey Sweet!!! Dave, Bill and tyrone are definitely going. Has anybody talked to Tim since the Elbe run?? What kind of shape is his Jeep in?? Just wouldn't be as fun without him there.
This thread is for the Naches Trail run on Saturday, 12 November 2011.
I don't know why it took me so long....just kinda dense I reckon. The Naches Pass Trail goes right over the top of Chinook Summit and we are planning to 4wheel that trail on the second weekend in November. Is it just my thinking or do we stand a VERY good chance of seeing snow on this run??
Sweet!!!!! I sure hope so!!

So I was thinking we should do this run on Saturday. It is always nice to have that extra day in case someone breaks down. I would say meet at the Bonney Lake Fred Meyer at 8:00am and try to leave by 8:30 which would put us at FS 70 at 9:00 and hitting the trail around 9:15.

The couple times I've been there it seems pretty simple. But haven't played around in the snow or water. With ether of them the rocks will be slippery......but if it rains no one will get to have a dust bath
