Tested my homebrew add-on winch mount. Set the ebrake, put the jeep in neutral and spooled it in. At the end of the pull the jeep was up against a concrete retaining wall and couldnt go forward and the winch still there, so time will tell how my welds hold up.

$299.99 at 4 wheel parts. Then I got the extra 3 full warranty for an extra $20. Not to shabby.

so i changed out my upper control arm bushings due to ripping one of them to shreds after a wheelin trip. also rebuilt my rear drive shaft

and i was driving on this thing

just pulled this apart after the control arm was removed, gay

new bushings strait out of the freezer!

here it is

installed using stock sleeves. they were not damaged so i just reused them

just remember when putting all this crap back together, especially since my jeep goes under water and in snow, i use plenty of this guy!!!

CARNAGE!!!

look at this thing, some of them are crushed to dust, and one end cap didnt even have any needle bearings left!

rebuilt the carden joint. all the needle bearings in the ball and socket joint were still there, so i just cleaned them and packed them full of a grease!!

you freeze them to make them smaller, makes it easier to get them in the sleeve, so you dont damage your new bushings while taping them in. makes a huge difference

installed new V8 tie rod and mounted my new cb antenna horizontally on my roof rack (to hopefully keep me from breaking it).
