IMO it depends of if the clunking is in time with the wheel turning or more if it's braking or accell. Mine's doing the same and I'm thinking it's the spring mount bushings. My wife had a clunk in time with the wheel turning and the lugs had stripped out and she was losing the wheel. *shrug* Hope youres isn't anything expensive!
What I did today...
Replaced the leaky oil sender in my off roader and rallyed around the yard with my nephew for his 13th b-day, letting him drive it when he got tired of his dirt bike.
PB blasted the bolts for a three way bumper swap between the three jeeps.

(don't know if the PMs work as I've never got one)

I also converted my headlights to H4's today

After putting new cap/rotor, plugs/wires, crank position sensor, fuel pump/filter, it was the damn ignition coil failing on cold starting. $32 and 10min fix. "Let's go wheelin" Next upgrade is bigger battery and cables for upgrade/extra lights. Bigger project is building half ex-o-skeleton fenders connected to frame rails. Then build a customized full roof rack. Gotta save money up for metal and powder coating.

Put on the new Smittybuilt Haus style fairlead I got for Christmas. So far, I have completely destroyed two of the Roller style fairleads Smittybuilt sales with their XRC 8000 winch. I love the winch...its a little slow but, has pulled my Jeep out everytime its been stuck. I really hope I have better luck with the Haus Fairlead.

sucks right now having a broken thumb
, i cant do anything and relying on others is hard to not just get pissed off and frustrated that i cant do it myself. especially when i see that i could probably do it better. case in point?, the wheels that i prepped and painted yesterday came out **** up but the tint that my buddy frank basically laid down (with one hand i simply couldnt do it) kinda came out a little sloppy here and there. i am a bit of a perfectionist so in my eyes i saw his finish work as sub par. but, it is what it is and it is a low to no budget build thing. wow, this turned into a long whiny post, could be the pain medication.
