What did you do to your XJ today??
Finally fixed a problem with the passenger window switches not working. Thank you to whom ever posted that in the how to section. Was also able to fix the auto window down function aswell.
Also fixed my rear defrost with the permatex kit. Haven't field tested it yet but my multimeter seems to think it works.
Fixed some rust on my cut and fold. Ground a switch as I could reach. Brushed and used rust killer stuff on the rest and repainted.
Also got this in the mail. I'll try it out and see how it works.

Getting my XJ closer to the trail status , working on cooling and electrical , already have a new water pump and thermostat so naturally i'm after a new radiator now .
Having my Yellow top battery checked out to make sure it's still in top shape,
My XJ project is moving ahead slowly, but at least it's still moving.

Finally got to test run my new arms, axles, and tires. All of em performed awsome even with my heavy foot in the slick rocks! Im never goin back to another tire, the Federal Mud Terrains worked perfect on road and aired down, they clung to everything like a hooker on a 100 dollar bill. And cleaned out the mud as good if not better than all the swampers i ever ran! Yes ive ran most tires out there and these are the best bang for your buck. I dont know about wear nor do i care.

The spring isn't going to do you any good when you hit and rip the mount off. I would know from experience lol. If you put it on your rack with the spring you can bend the tip down to your regular radio antenna and secure it with surgical tubing. So it isn't towering up into the air when you don't want it to
If you do any wheeling in tight areas you will regret putting your antenna there. I have ripped mine off 4 differents spots. It is now on my rack with a spring and I have had 0 issues since then. I would highly recommend relocating it there if you do wheel her a bunch.
Recently purchased a '98 parts Jeep for my '99. All original, I'm now trying to decided whether or not to sell off my extra set of alloys or keep them. The '98 has a full set of alloys with winters and a set of AS's with no rims. I also have a darker gray alloy for a Classic that I should sell.

Sorry I haven't taken the time to read any build thread of anything Nathan but just curious as to why the frame? Trying to go with a sturdy base for a 4 link? Old frame rotted out? Wanting something epic?
My jeep had been hit before in the rear so the frame rails were pretzels cracked and broken. I didnt really like the idea of of pulling the rails straight and plating them. So i cut it all out and built new ones lol. Im hanging 63in chevy springs in the rear full widths and 38in tsl tires
