Later that day the same check Gage's light comes on and stays on, then a bunch of other lights turn on and the tranny starts shifting weird. So I stop at napa and get and alternator. Luckily I made it to my destination at 10pm, and don't have to break down and replace the darn thing. However as I pulled in the drive way, all the interior and dash lights went out , lucky I felt. So in the morning I'll replace the alternator and fix the problem with a new battery too. The battery should still be good right?
As long as you charge it up!

Changed out the alternator in the WJ this morning and made it home just fine. The jeep runs much better with the upgraded alternator.

This was yesterday, but I ran it into a tree root. Today I bought a 12V compressor for it until I decide if I want OBA

Fix stock fog light switch. Swapped a rugged ridge rock switch in there. Tried to go for oil filter adapter gasket change, couldn't get the bolt to come loose... Sucker is TIGHT!

Spliced in a new connector plug for my temperature switch sensor. It's nice to see how warm I am running again!

Press the torx bit out, cut it down so there is just enough of the 6 point part to grab with a cut down 3/8 drive 12mm socket and get a breaker bar on it. Also may be easier to remove the motormount bolt that's in the way.
