Got to play in the mud today... Did pretty well bent my fender but that just means i have to trim it up more. Also lost my licence plate going through a hole and found it a little later bent to s*** sticking out of the ground lol... Also busted off my rock slider because my friend welds like a chump and i got the bright idea to let him do it.

Over the past few days I took the winch rope off and hung it up in the garage to dry. Then, strung it back onto the winch drum all nice and purdy. Then, last night I replaced the rear axle pinion seal that had been leaking more fluid out than it was holding in. I also cleaned all of the solid nasty grease out of the rear U-joint on the rear DS. Then, pumped if full of nice new clean grease. I hope that makes it live a little longer. Also, while I was checking and airing up all of my tires I noticed my apssenger side front extended bump stop had fallen out so I had to put that back in the tube. Tonight the boy and I will do a little confidence bleed on the brakes. The pedal just feels a little softer than I like. Teh, the Jeep will be all ready for the Walker valley Run on Saturday.

Finally found what has been killing my jeep! its gremlins, they like to get in there and chew up every kind of wiring i have... i was thinking about getting rid of them with that vacuum cleaner from the ghost busters... what do you guys think?
Also just so i follow the rules, i pulled my alt and got it tested and figured out why she wouldnt start without a screw driver after installing and taking out the new ignition switch, damn nss EVERY time

So, the boy and I bled my brakes last night. The air pocket was trapped in the proportioning valve just like I figured. There was a little in the rear brake lines, too. The brake pedal is solid again now. That's all that matters.
After doing the brakes I decided to wire brush and rattlecan touch up the bare medal on the armor. as I was touching up the front bumper I got a wild hair and well the picture shows the half done results. I'd seen a good buddy when we went on the Elbe trip had done the same thing to the same bumper on his Jeep and I liked the way it looked. I should have done it a long time ago. I will get the passenger side done tonight and be all ready for Walker tomorrow.

I finished hacking my bumper today. Here is a picture of the finished product. I also cleaned the mud out of the inside from the Elbe Trip. I decided to do a little body work on the ole Jeep while I was at it. I knocked most of the big dents out from the rollover and from the Elbe trip.
