I replaced the fan clutch on the radiator fan - and more importantly the fan shroud. I had tried to find a fan shroud at the JY (it was broken in two when I bought it) with absolutely no luck. They were all broken and I was trying to figure out why. I now assume that nobody thinks they're very important and just snaps the tops and bottoms off to access the fan, or anything else they need to get there hands on. It is tough to try and work around that shroud and get the damn fan back on the pulley. But, I was amazed at how much more air it allows the fan to move with the shroud on - Huge Difference! Had to buy the part new, cost me $45 but it made the xj happy. I'm not a big fan (no pun) of that mechanical fan, but I wasn't geared up to do anything else right now.

Pulled my seats and center console. Getting ready to Herculiner the interior!
Just pullin the center console I found $10 in change... Can't wait to see how much is under the carpet. I can see quite a bit of sparkle when I shine my flashlight down there!
