I've got a red cherokee, two missing flares on the right side and some sort of tubular front bumper w a couple trail lights on it.

I actually saw two red cherokees on my way up, I wonder who they were.
I got out there kinda late, around 4-5pm.

Hello,

Jeepers, I'm still very new at the off-road thing. So fare I have not gone to a lot of places. I have been to walker valley, but as I don't have a proper set of tires and a 4x4 that only works part of the time, I staid to the main road. But my kids loved it. I also play at Johnson's sand bar just down the road from my house. Now if I can ask could people tell me where to find fun places to go 4 wheeling in Skagit Co that is fun but wont kill a daily driver?

I live in mount Vernon. I'd be more than happy to show you around the easier trails at walker valley, like humps and bumps . This Saturday we're heading up to twin lakes to check out an old gold mine and do some alpine fishing. Let me know what your schedule is and we'll have to work something out.

That would be nice, I don't do much fishing but I do love to pan for gold. Where is this twin lakes? And I'll be able to do more off roading as soon as I get my tires replaced. Do you know of a place to get cheep good used tires?

Craigslist is a good place to find tires and wheels. Just keep an eye out and you'll find something that'll work.

Twin lakes is near mount baker off of sr542. Google twin lakes whatcom wa.

part-time 4wd means that you turn it on and off via the 4wd lever. It doesn't mean that when it's engaged, that it's not 4wd. It says part time 4wd because it isn't all-wheel-drive like a subaru.
