I can understand where your coming from on not wanting to drag the group down, something i seem to do on almost every trip, not by choice beleive me.

There are plenty of people who would gladly take you on a tour of some of these orv parks and not have to run the hardest wildest trails. If it was just one other post about you not being able to come because of your jeep then im sorry i pointed it out, just seemed like it happened often.

as for the elbe trip where branden got left behind, he didnt really. The trail rules fell apart where if your not last in the group and you dont see the guy behind you, say something or stop. We were not even a quarter mile up the trail from where he broke his ds, we were stopped there while alex took a driveshaft down to him and we got the news he wasnt fixable. We made a group decision to get all the jeeps off the trail with the kids in them. Rossi and buck came back down and finished helping him off the trail. No one was actually left behind.

Tell me what the point of 11 jeeps coming back down the trail after we got the kids out would have accomplished besides cluttering the hell out of the trail and making it impossible to turn around.
Understandable, I'm not trying to cause drama or anything, I just know you, and buck have STACKED jeeps and want a challenge. I understand that. We will get to make a run some time because I do look forward to meet all of you guys .

Lets hit elbe, I will run everything but the busy wild... Don't have a winch yet . This time of the year the other 3 trails will be dry but challenging(for me at least). I want to do a practice run at Tahuya sunday first, Just did some upgrades and getting my alignment done tomorrow.

I totally agree, nobody got left behind (elbe trip)!!That trip was awesome and everyone who went on that trip is a better wheeler because of it.

Hey NW hunter, you should take some advice from big league. He was the guy who wheeled walker stock (daily driver) and had to get dragged a bit. But he came back with a lift that cost under $200 and a set of 33s and wheels for $250, and ran every trail with a little spotting from the veterans. The point is pay attention to the threads and do some research and you can enjoy your xj on and off the paved highway.

Also to add... I live 10min from walker. I have every tool you'll ever need and a decent collection of bolts and spare parts. If anyone needs some help, give me a call and I'll be there.

You might be better off just welding the rear. You weld, right? I think I could run every trail at walker in a stock xj, with a welded rear end. Probably get some new pin stripping

Lol, Yah I'm not that impatient. I don't want to ruin my front or rear end... I got people after them. 3.07 gear ratio is hard to find I guess??? anyways I plan to go to 4.10s / Dana 44 rear

When I go on my 1 month break in September is when I will start hitting the harder trails, Then I wont have to rely on my rig every day and by then I hope to have a winch and a locked front end.
Excuse me??????? You and MudderX didn't do a damn thing to help that guy out. You sat in Wades Jeep while Rossi and I (Buck) came and helped him and his partner get his Jeep off the bridge and did the same thing while Rossi towed him out of the trail. You were there, yes, but only because Wades Jeep was stuck behind him. So you can just back that train up. I was there.

That kid who was holding everybody up least time in the stock gold Jeep, his name is Isaac. He did have a rough time but he learned a lot. When we went back up to walker in July he was there again. This time his jeep was lifted a little more, it had good 33 inch mud tires and he had rock sliders on it. He did fine and kept up perfect. I'd wheel with him anytime.

I'm simply saying, You 2 both have invested money into your guys rigs. Lets be real, Your not going to the easier trails just for someone you don't know. Now thats cleared up, When the day comes when I see you guys out at on the trail... Look forward to wheelin.

Sorry Wade, wasn't meaning to drag you into anything. Your boy just needed to have his memory jogged on who did what that fateful night on the Busy Wild when we were all waiting to get off the trail.
