Since jeeps are the most common vehical i wheel with. Doing this will educate me about the electronics and wiring. Id like to be handy when a fellow wheeler has a problem. I would like to be armed with a possible solution. I just wanna be handy when im out there.

I already made plans to buy anotger rig for the h.o and variouse parts. So just making good on a deal i said i would buy and not leaving the gent hanging because im switching.

So final plans are. While the engine is out. Go thru it. I plan to deck the block down and mill the head down. Would like to get close to 10:1. Going to run the renix head on the ho block with ho electronics and intake. Porting out the head. Small ports make torque down in the lower rpm. Then its going on the dyno at my old work. to see what the gain is over stock after the software is tuned. Mite take me a minute ive never epromed a jeep yet. Or decifered the maps out of the hex dump. Bla bla.

If you want to be handy learn to spell first.

If you are just getting rid of it to buy a rover why do all of this work? cut your ties with the Cherokee because you will get all the wiring educating you can get rewiring a rover.

After you've owned a few foreign cars wirings second nature. Not to mention working in a high end auto shop while going to school. Jags used to give me nite mares. I swear the same part if electronic in ine of tgem cars will fail a 100 diferent ways. They should have a sticker that say may catch fire when in use.

I think he is getting flamed so much because he's on a CHEROKEE forum and is kinda bashing on Xj's, So its only natural that people are going to give him hell for it.
