Im thinking june or july. Hows walker that time of year? if its not rly a challenge i might make it a fall trip instead when its starts getting wet again.

Its. A bit dry and dusty. Ibut the lower trails prety much are always muddy. Or atleast in spots. Winter trips genraly are best. But you should come up and check it out any way

starting in on tearing the parts rig down tomorrow went and picked it up today.

the engine runs great and the trans seems good too. should make for a good swap.

Ok this is a pleasent suprize. To swap a wire harness in a jeep is way more complicated than a bmw. Im amused enough im laughing. Oh my jeep a perfectly built rats nest of wiring. The saga continues.

ok question . i believe i read some ware . a company make a stand alone harness and controller for the aw4 auto trans. can any one point me in the right direction. i dont think i wanna swap the engine harness.

you can either control the tranny by switches on the 2 solenoids and on the TC lockup, or by getting a shifter from this guy:

Ok so . Who fell asleep at the wheel when desighing the jeep. What company puts your window sprayer lines in the wire harness. Ill be re routing mine outside the harness. Fun bit of bolts tho. I pulled the engine trans and t case out in one. Can you say crane truck

Yeah tru that. I hate to say it the only parts of an xj made in the US are the axles body and engine. The rest is all imported. No joke. Most of you hard core jeep lovers are so close to being in a euro rig ya just dont know it.
