I recently saw another one on CL for over $10k. They claimed it was extremely rare and special order because it came with grand Cherokee trans axles. What the **** are trans axles? I doubt they're worth $5k.

 

Its a dealer selling it... Dealers always think they have gold when a low millage car with leather comes in on trade. >.<

 

I agree that thing looks immaculate.. But I just can't get over the 10k price tag. I mean I would probably think twice at like 6500 just not 10g's.

lol... If my intent was to make that a wheeler... Its not worth more then 2500$ too me. My opinion is, If Im buying a car to trash it offroad... I'm not spending 10K LOL!

 

Again I can do nothing but agree lol. If I was gonna spend that kind of coin it would be a pavement princess

 

At the end of the day it's still an XJ box car. it's a 13 year old vehicle that is nowhere near a collector in any way. The guy will not see the 10K he is asking. 83K is low miles for an XJ as we on here all know but to the average Joe it's just 17K from the magic 100K that all average people think is the end of the line for a vehicle. We all have the extreme love for the boxey little rigs and we all agree it isn't worth 10K. The average person on the street just won't put up the duckets. If the guy was lower the price down to say 5 or 6K I'd be all over it. That is THE cleanest XJ I have seen in a long time!!!

 

A transaxle is basically a front wheel drive trans. or a RWD rear/mid engine trans. Its a trans where the axle shafts come directly out of the trans itself.
