i wonder if that means it will be closed forever. if so i have to say that, that really pisses me off! damn tree huggers, cant leave nothing alone. that place has been a off road area for a long long time. they dont get that in doing that people will find and make new trails, and in turn defeat what they started out to do. what a bunch of f 'in dumb azz's.

Its not all closed. My understanding is there will be a bridge or alternate route. Its only closed due to the creek crossing. There is still plenty to do up there.

If I can't run Lake Isabell trail anymore. I won't go back. That was about the only trail I really enjoyed up there.

*sigh, some tree hugger is sitting in his/her goat hair socks laughing that they got another trail shut down... Sad.

yeah I went up to reiter again this weekend witih my brother. yeah that main trail is blocked at the road. but they have acouple of trail that link up to it. I don't know if people just "Made" those trails. it was pretty fun kinda muddy because of the rain. I had to tow my brothers pathfinder out to the main road and he had to get it tow'd. he went into a pretty big mud pit and his car would idle but once you give it gas it would stall. but other then that it was fun

So, did they just block the little trail that went around the big steel gate right there at the road? If that is all they did I know there are other trails leading back to the power lines and as long as I can get to the power lines, I can get to the Lake Isabelle trail.
