RARITY!
So while browsing through the local J-yard today, I happened to come across number 66 of 100 of the insanely rare "Street Cherokee" version. I'm going to do what I can to save it from the crusher. It is a legit "Street Comanche", still has the dash decal even!

The one at the J-Yard has been wrecked, needs a new driver's fender and LCA. If I can get the money I need, I'm going to buy it and fix it up. I'll go snap some pictures tomorrow when I go back to grab some parts for my other MJ.

It's located in Springfield Oregon, and yes, it's insanely rare, which is why I'm wanting to save it from getting crushed, which I don't doubt will happen soon since the engine/trans are already gone. I'll talk to the J/Y owner today and find out what he's asking for it and give anyone interested in snagging it an update.

sounds like a very cool and rare Jeep to restore and keep. I never knew these ultra rare Comanches existed. Thanks for the history lesson and keep us posted on the restore with pics too!

Well, very bad news. The J/Y that has the comanche will not sell rigs out of the yard due to dmv title destruction.
