If you know of a better way to build a D30 "On the Cheap," please share. Key words being "on the cheap". If you just want to be a $martass and start $hit, please don't bother providing anymore of your unhelpful comments.

I mounted up one grinder with a griniding wheel and my other grinder with a cutting wheel and went to town. I have a close up of the left side and right side of the axle where the LCA mounts used to be. There is a pic of the whole axle with the mounts all ground off and then another pic with the new mounts sitting in place.

Here is a pic of the new LCA mounts right after I took them out of the box. Then, I went out and removed the broken and bent remains of the old LCA mount, that was ripped from the axle, from the end of my right side Lower Control Arm. The other 2 pics show a comparison of the way more beefy new mounts and the wimpy old mount. To me there is no comparison.

Okay guys so there are some more pictures to see as requested. Sorry this is such a slow process but, I have been working on this in my spare time. It's time to do some work with the wire wheel and then make some cardboard templated for my over the axle truss I will be having Dave weld on for me.

I want to hear all constructive opinions from you guys about a decision I need to make with this axle. My delima is what is my better bang for my buck? Should I go with a homebrew over the axle welded on truss or should I go with axle tube inserts? Please tell me which one you would go with and give me a brief write up of why. Thanks Buck.
