I dont see you "out driving" everybody you go out with. In fact when all the rest of us were doing the really hardcore stuff out of our comfort zone at Naches in snow and the Busy Wild in Elbe you were a no show both times. If anything gives you an edge over the Majority of the XJ you wheel with I'd have to say it's because you know Walker well and it's the only place you go wheeling and your 35 inch skins.

***UPDATE*** So, An update on things, I have everything done and torqued down to the book's standards. The Jeep rides a bit stiff, but I figured that was coming due to the use of Dodge Dakota springs being thicker then the cherokee stock leaf's and the shocks I went with are brand new and need a little time to set in. Local around town driving, everything looks and sounds good. When I get up to about 50MPH, I get a slight vibration. I haven't got over 50 yet but will shortly. My tires are still centered straight in the wheel well's with my stock upper and lower control arms. But YES I will replace them soon with bigger beefy control arms and get an alignment done. I'm only driving around town and some minor highway for now. I'm going to avoid the trails until I replace upper and lowers. BTW, This is a 3 INCH LIFT ON STOCK WHEELS / TIRES!

Bastard packs generally ride stiffer then actual xj leafs regardless of shackle angle. Depends on how many are stacked and what vehicle they came from. Dakota springs? Yeh.... Definitely thicker than an xj spring. Adjusting the shackle angle will help a bit, but not too much

Alright, Here's the latest scoop guys. My jeep drives GREAT in the city at low speed. When I get out on the highway at 60mph, my 4WD lever shakes and I get a vibration from the transfer case area. This ONLY happens when I hit gas. When I let off the gas everything is fine. This happens in 4th and/or 5th gear. (I wouldn't be in 3rd gear doing 60mph) I'm going to guess this is a drive shaft issue. mudderx did point out to me that my drive shaft is not quiet long enough and had an idea that AW4 has longer drive shaft then AX-15. So either I find a drive shaft out of an auto and try that, or drop the transfer case so the drive shaft lines up better. Again this is all theory and I'm still learning here. Any input guys?

When you have DS vibes from an over angled U-joint, the vibes are much more pronounced at high speed and even more when getting on and off the throttle.

Typical Oxen, he'd much rather hack the **** out of an XJ he doesn't even like. Keep your excuses for your mom, when she asks you why your room is such a pig sty!!

If you think there is something you can learn from me, I will be there and more than happy to help you out in any way that I can. Just ask. Unfortunately, you talk like you have it all figured out at what, 20? I'm not sure I can teach you anything, Bud. You've got two of the coolest guys I know on this forum mad at you. Why do you do that?
