I have a tcase drop if we need it. Were gonna make adjustments after he drives it a few days (because I have to drive to Cali and back tonight).

If shes riding a bit stiff look into adjusting your shackle angle. More angle will make it ride nicer. Being that you have fabrication skills i bet you could make some adjustable shackle boxes.

he said it rides a bit stiff. Add some shackle angle and they will ride a bit better. There certainly worth doing. They add a little lift as well. So he may have the option to remove a leaf as well. Wich would make the angle he adds affect the ride of his rig more. Or aleast that may be what id try on it.

Alright, Here's the latest scoop guys. My jeep drives GREAT in the city at low speed. When I get out on the highway at 60mph, my 4WD lever shakes and I get a vibration from the transfer case area. This ONLY happens when I hit gas. When I let off the gas everything is fine. This happens in 4th and/or 5th gear. (I wouldn't be in 3rd gear doing 60mph) I'm going to guess this is a drive shaft issue. mudderx did point out to me that my drive shaft is not quiet long enough and had an idea that AW4 has longer drive shaft then AX-15. So either I find a drive shaft out of an auto and try that, or drop the transfer case so the drive shaft lines up better. Again this is all theory and I'm still learning here. Any input guys?

I think its the other way around and the 5 spd ds is longer than the aw4 ds. Ill bring that tcase drop over later. You will need to get 4 bolts and washers tho.

DS vibes is exactly what the problem is. You need a crossmember drop and axle degree shims or a SYE, end or story! Unfortunately those are the 2 choices you have to get rid of the vibes. Like I said before, the drop kit and degree shims are the cheaper choice. SYE is the better but much more expensive choice. I have done both for extended periods of time. Both work very well on and off road. The SYE is just better.

When you have DS vibes from an over angled U-joint, the vibes are much more pronounced at high speed and even more when getting on and off the throttle.

honey bunny you are infact correct. i did stay home to hack my rig. but i am kind of liking it now so your half wrong about that. and my room well you'd know huh
