***UPDATE*** So, An update on things, I have everything done and torqued down to the book's standards. The Jeep rides a bit stiff, but I figured that was coming due to the use of Dodge Dakota springs being thicker then the cherokee stock leaf's and the shocks I went with are brand new and need a little time to set in. Local around town driving, everything looks and sounds good. When I get up to about 50MPH, I get a slight vibration. I haven't got over 50 yet but will shortly. My tires are still centered straight in the wheel well's with my stock upper and lower control arms. But YES I will replace them soon with bigger beefy control arms and get an alignment done. I'm only driving around town and some minor highway for now. I'm going to avoid the trails until I replace upper and lowers. BTW, This is a 3 INCH LIFT ON STOCK WHEELS / TIRES!

I dont see you "out driving" everybody you go out with. In fact when all the rest of us were doing the really hardcore stuff out of our comfort zone at Naches in snow and the Busy Wild in Elbe you were a no show both times. If anything gives you an edge over the Majority of the XJ you wheel with I'd have to say it's because you know Walker well and it's the only place you go wheeling and your 35 inch skins.

I didn't see anything in your write up about addressing the vibes of putting you DSs at the more extreme angle when lifting your XJ. If you did and I just missed it I apologize. However, every XJ seems to be a little different. Some guys claim to have gone to 5 inches plus without having any DS vibes. I'm guessing those guys had a really bad riding Jeep with worn componants and vibes before the lift. I have heard of other guys getting vibes with as little as 3 inch lift. I'm guessing since your jeep looks like it is in really good shape that it rode really well stock and the vibes you are feeling are the normal vibes from the lift. The proper fix is a SYE but, if funds aren't there just getting some washers and longer crossmember bolts and dropping it down about 1/2 to 1 inch should make the vibes go away. Only do the washer thing as a temp fix. Get a proper crossmember drop kit or an SYE to fix it right.
