I have a new (to me) 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. The Driver's power seat runs, but will not move the seat fore and aft. The Passenger seat operates OK. Are the power bases interchangeable? Have not been able to find salvage seat. Passenger seat would be OK if in current position of driver seat.
Chances are the little nylon worm gear in the seat motor is stripped.
Now this is an XJ power seat motor but I am under the impression that they are very similar if not the same.
