Default oh no i did it .......

got you to look ha ha haha

i drew up a program and milled out some switch plates. they hold 1 inch by 1/2 inch rocker switches. figure mite be good for lights or on-board air etc.

plates are clad aluminum so they should last a good long while. i left some extra meat on them figure it can be bent or drilled for how ever some body wants to mount emm.

there free. hit me up when you see me out and about they'll be in my jeep.

i run a 5 axis & 3 axis mills at my work from time to time. i weld 90% of my time on the clock now. but i don't want to forget how to write G-code so i play on the cnc's make tooling an crap or jigs for stuff i weld.

i have no idea ware one would put them. could bend it and drill it to ft up on the pillar next to the window. or on the side of a console. bend it in to a L shape and mount it on the dash . i figure i mite make some more specfic plates later on.

not trying to be rude or be a dick but you start random threads all about things that could be put into a single build thread of your own. why not keep it all in one place?

If i was to make a build thread for a set of plates seems excessive. What would i put in it all the g code? And ssay oh yeah these lines of number & letters make this lol. I dought more than 4 people on here could read that and even know waht it was rofl.

Ware would you like a plate? How many switches. Give me some measurment and ill run you a set of ones you want. Hows that ehh.

Whoa there, Cowboy!! I don't think Branden was attacking you just for the sake of doing it or anything like that. I think what he meant to say was start one thread advertising your Oxen Engineering business. "Saying I weld, I do machine work, I can build anything you provide me a picture of, etc". Maybe even move it to the Vender Section of the forum. Then, each time you come up with a new idea for a new product just post the write up and pics on that thread. Rather than starting a new one each time. Guys will get used to seeing that one thread and when it's bumped to the top they will know you have updated it with a new product and everybody will take a look at it. That would do much better at getting you business.

I more less was writing a hypothetical of what id write. Re reading that it dose come off a tad harsh. But if i was attacking him i wouldnt offer him a set of plates. I could use some little side project at work to fill out my time card.

Ohnestly i though hell ill make some switch plated some guys mite use emm. Just trying to get my 40 in. I mite make a thread but i dont think ill be wantting to sell any thing. Most of what id make now ill just give away to who ever.

If any one has measurments on ware they would like a plate post a pic and a measurment. Ill just use this one thread for these little projects.
