Alright im pretty sure i got the correct location to meet at but not 100% sure. The road that we are meetin on fs70, is it called nation forest development rd 70? we would turn right off of 410 and that road leads to greenwater? But we would just wait for you at that turn?

Your looking at the right 70 road. Greenwater is on hwy 410. Coming from the eastside, if you get to greenwater you've gone too far. rd 70 is just east of greenwater. Meet us at the turnout on the side of 70 right after you turn off of 410.

I'm leaving Kennewick 5 to 5:30. Be in Jackima @ 7 to meet up w/ OleBlue, then up the pass from there. No sleep tonight... I'm as happy as a puppy with two peeter's!

I believe the law technically says that you need the forest pass to park on forest land, as it was originally intended with hikers in mind. In speaking with Ian Canaan, the Ranger for the Evans Creek & Naches areas who writes the tickets, he says that for 4 wheelers you need to have one in your tow rig if you towed, or in your wheeer if you drove up. This came up when talking about Evans Creek where it is much easier for them to verify you have one in your tow rig because there are only a couple parking lots and one main entrance. I have never seen the ranger while running the naches trail and even if we did see him you could just say that you have one in your tow rig parked on the 70 road and you should be fine.

My dads buddy was going to head to his cabin tonight for the weekend, which is over by chinook pass. Got word that they might be closing it, going to traffic people through and close it in the night. Something to keep posted on...
