new jeep
hey guys it has been awhile since i have been on here.
as some may know i sold my 2 door red xj to a friend almost a year ago.
he is still in the area.
well i finally got a new jeep.
sorry its not an xj but it is still a cherokee. a grand cherokee.
its a 93 zj 5.2l black.
here are some pics.
some bed liner i have used on panels and roof.
what it look like before i did anything.
SO far i gutted interior because the carpet was mildewed.
my wife also wanted me to put in some leather seats.
so now i have an extra set of seats.
still waiting to buy carpet.
i have also spray can bed lined my grey molding and bumpers.
and the roof because it was peeling and rusted.
i also have a set of sliders that were found on criagslist. for $78.
just need to get some good bolts to mount them in.

well she isnt a little scared of wheeling all the off camber stuff.
she will go though.
but she loves the look of a nice lifted jeep.

Leo, nice looking ZJ. Welcome back to the forum. I see you have been in the Whidbey4x4 forum. I went wheeling with a few of them last weekend up at Walker. A huge K5, a red Toy with a flatbed and a 4Runner with an orange exo-skeleton. I work with Brian the guy with the K5. They are a pretty decent group of guys. I've been thinking about joining up. I actually work with quite a few of the guys in that club.

so i finished spray can lining my bumpers and i started to put on my rock sliders.
i misaligned the brackets and now i will probably have to weld them to the body or drill new holes for mounting.
here are some pics.
view of the slider from the side
view of the slider from the front looking down the body line.
view of the slider from the top looking down the body line.
