most people would frown apon this but cut the ends off a 2 and3/4 inch cherry bomb and slapp them under ur coil springs, its pretty strong from what ive seen there tough people have railed on them and smashed them all up and the still hold. or get some stock f150 coils off a 79 or older ford it equals out to a 6inch lift. there is lots of junkyard home built lifts that are easy just have to find the right parts

If your that desperate, junkyard parts are your best resort. Its too bad you didn't post this when I was selling a 3" lift for $100....

yea if you want a junkyard 2 inch lift, then get the jeep grand cherokee 93-98 front coil springs from a V8 model. that should bring you up about 2 inches in the front, and some Comanche rear leaf springs. or you could just buy some 2" spacers and some rough country shackles, that is about 60-80 bucks. that will put you at 2 inches. your stock shocks should be able to handle it.
you could also find a friend with a drill press, and have them drill a hole in the bottom bolt that holds your sway bar links in place, big enough for a locking pin and then you got yourself some free/super cheap sway bar discos!

I second that, do V8 ZJ front springs for about 1.5" lift from a junkyard, and some coil spacers... in the rear you can do a bastard pack, use S10 springs or others. Or AAL's are a pretty cheap way to lift the rear (use the long ones. stay away from blocks and ghetto fabbed spacers). If you need new shocks you can find longer ones off another vehicle. Look on online classifieds, ebay, and craigslist for used stuff. I just finished piecing together a 3.5" lift for about half what a new one costs.
