i ordered a new set of brake line extensions from rustys about a week ago and they should be here by this weekend. ive read on here that people often times have some trouble installing them. anyone down to give a hand with the whole bleeding process and what not this weekend. i really need to get them on there cause my stopping power has gone to the birdies since i went up again.
i might be in need of a flexplate swap in the near future as well as my knocking noise has gotten much louder at start up. once i figure out how to check it to see if thats the problem (which im hoping it is cause if its the engine im in trouble) i might need some help with that too, but for nows its stopping that im worried about. usual insintives apply (beer and pizza).

Are you free tues, wends, or thursday? I have a 2000 xj and have installed stainless steel extended brake lines on the front and rear of mine. I will come over and give you a hand if you want. There is nothing to it.

im not sure. my house got robbed this weekend and ive been devoting an insane amount of time to trying to deal wth that. ihave to start some training on wednesday, but might be able to around 4pm on wednesday afternoon. i went out to look at it yesterday morning and i just have no clue how it works in the back. the front looks pretty standard but the back not so much. im gonna see if i can borrow a camera from someone (again all my stuf got stole) and try to post some pics of it and the brake lines i got. iwill do this tonight and hope for the best with wednsday

Ok sounds good. The rear is pretty simple. You should have a brake line that comes down off of the body and then into a block on top of the rear axle. That is the line you will be changing out. Pretty easy.
