I did , but they are treating me like a criminal. They asked more questions than the police and want my phone and text records. Im wondering if that is even legal , not that I have anything to hide.

Wow, I would be looking for a new insurance company as well. Not sure that is legal either.

If ya ain't got nothing to hide show em. With the crap economy a lot of tards have been making fraudulent claims instead of defaulting on loans or to pay off other debts.
It's a sad world when a company thinks you killed your XJ to claim like 2500 bucks.
I made my rep take a pic of every add on part of mine so I can get back the 10k if anything happens to it lol

Id get a lawer or at least free consult because thats bs. Your privacy shouldn't be violated like that, if they have a court order fine, otherwise they can **** off. You are the victim here not the insurance company.

Damn...I live in NE Portland. Never had any issues in the neighborhood. Much less theft in NE rather than SE. I'll keep my eye out. A white two door should be easy to spot.

Keep an eye out for a lifted black 2001 XJ sport with box and shaved emlblems..that's me!

That makes me mad dude, both the insurance AND the thief are screwing you hard. I couldn't imagine loosing my xj... Even though I've only had it for 5 days (at most) it's a part of me now, I'd be wanting blood. I'll keep an eye out for it up here, if u don't get it back try to get a new jeep, their all over the craigslists, just gotta get money for it. Sorry to hear about your loss.

Cherokee Protection policy = loud dog and shotgun. I can't stand when someone else thinks they can come along and just take what you worked so hard for! My best wish's in the recovery of your jeep.

I'm not going to describe the process's on this forum... But when I had to fix some ignition problems on my cherokee... I quickly seen how easy it is. When I leave my rig parked for long periods of time... I just pull the starter relay and it wont start then. Most thieves wont be smart enough to fix a problem.
