Hello my name is Shane and I just
wanted to introduce my self to the
pnw section. I live in Anacortes W.A.
and I have a 93 cherokee with a 3inch
lift and 31 inch bfg's under it. So I
hope to meet some local people.

Ok I will get some pics up soon. I don't really have any mods
done yet other than what came on it when I bought it.
I bought it with a 3inch lift plus a extra leaf in the rear,
31inch bfg mud terrains, and a rear tire mount. It's a
old pierce county sheriffs jeep so it has a spot light
and column shift (i'm not a fan of)and I have a cb
I need to wire up.
I plan on a bigger lift so I can fit 33's under it.
A winch and winch bumper/grill guard, and I
want to put some grand cherokee seats in.
i almost forgot a engine with less mile eventual.

Hey Shane welcome to CF from Buck over in Oak Harbor on Whidbey Island. Yeah like Rich said definitely post some pics so we can see your Jeep. There is also another local guy on the forum you can meet. His name is Zack and he works at the Annacortes Les Schwabs. I go wheeling over at Walker Valley pretty regularly. Im sure you've been there since you're local. If you haven't you've got to go! It's an awesome place. A bunch of the forum guys went on a wheeling run over to Elbe Hills ORV area. It was great times!!

Hello Buck thank you for the welcome. I have been to walker
quite a few times, and over the summer around July or August
I met a group of the Whidbey 4x4 when out there. I went and
bought a new camera tonight so I can get some pics up of my
jeep.I saw the pictures of the Elbe run I don't think my jeep
would have done very well only having 31's and a 3inch lift.

Shane thats a good looking Jeep. I think you moight just be surprised at how well you would have done at Elbe. There is another sort of local guy named Eric. He actually lives in Olympia but he took his XJ on 3ish lift and 31 or 32" balding street tires and he did very well. Your driving skills really go a long way on the trail. I look forward to meeting you and wheeling Walker soon. I work with several of the guys from Whidbey4x4. One of them told me of a possible run out to Walker in the next two weekends. I'm thinking about joining their club. I've actually wheeled with them several times and they are a great bunch of guys. I've just been burned by clubs in the past so I'm a little leary.
