I have this ghost rider comic book from 1992 that is almost perfect condition and i think it might be worth some money. But i am having a hard time researching it. It was singed buy the penciler Ron Wagner back in 1992 as well. My grandpa knew Ron Wagner and Ron gave it to my grandpa. And then my grandpa gave it to me. So are there any comic gurus on here? If so what do you think it is worth if anything?

As far how much this book is worth is a tricky subject. Comics do not exactly just double value because of a signature. Now we all believe its signed by the artist but does CGC(Certified Grading Company)believe you, no because they need hard proof, a picture of you getting it signed or an event they are grading at that can be supervised. Second if its signed you might hope its of a key issue. As far as the comics grade goes its in great shape as far as rips, stains and fading. If you look at the spine i can see multiple stress marks and the corners are not crisp 90's. I would rate this comic a Very good condition.
With that said this comic book with out the signature is worth a buck to a collector and thats if he needs that comic, but because its signed its worth either the sentimental value to you or what someone is willing to pay. My guess to a collector around 5 dollars and thats if he wants to ad that artist to say his signature collection, but to a kid getting into the hobby its worth as much as his parents will pay. Best of luck to you, If it were me id keep its a great thing to past down to your kid, and hey it might sky rocket with the new movie Ghost Rider spirit of vengeance movie on the way out, unlikely but thats just the thrill of the collecting game.

I agree, i have a large baseball collection, bats, ***** and cards, passed down to me from my daddy. Team autographs on ***** from way back when! All my bats are player bats from actual games and signed by them. Worth something I am sure, but priceless to me. Someday my lil one will enjoy them, as will his kids.

Your asking him the single hardest question what grade that book is, all comic collectors grade differently, unless you get it graded by CGC which has a completely non-bias grade system. Realistically that book is a 8.5 to 8.8, and that is without having it in my hands look at everything. Most prices reflected to the comic market are shown as 9.2-9.6 or NM condition. Most comics will never make home in 9.6 condition unless they are put in bag and board at moment of purchase. You will rarely ever find a 10.0 even at the very second they make it to comic rack at a comic shop. He has a great book and awesome keep sake but like i said your looking for someone that wants it for more than issue but for a purpose. Most young comic collectors will start by thinking they need signature books so your market is broadest there. He could take it to a comic shop, im sure they will pay 5-10 if they feel they can sell it for 15 to 20 to the right person. Anyone can do the same you just have to find the right person.

That’s an incredible find! A 1992 Ghost Rider comic signed by the penciler Ron Wagner could definitely hold value, especially given its condition and the personal story behind it. Signed comics often appeal to collectors, especially when there’s a connection to the creator. To get a better idea of its worth, I’d recommend checking out comic book appraisal sites, contacting a local comic shop, or even reaching out to professional graders who can evaluate its value based on rarity, condition, and demand. You might also want to consider looking at auction sites or specialty stores that focus on rare and signed comics. For unique collectibles like yours, places such as Larger Than Life Toys could be a good place to explore for guidance or to connect with buyers who appreciate rare finds. Have you considered getting it graded for added value and protection?
