So, i been doing some searching and talkin to others. I would like some input from you guys.
Question: Best way to load and tie my XJ down on a 16 ft trailer.

I have been told to back it on so the bulk of the weight is not on the tongue.
I have been told that all i need to get is axle straps and that is enough to secure my load.

I am a little confused due to the fact this would be my first time loading like this all by my self. I wanna make sure it's done correct and safe for other drivers on the road.

Any input would be nice.

 

ya those straps will work perfect. thats wut we use for my cherokee and my dads cj. you can drive it on the trailer straight on. just need to play with it and find the best balanced spot on the trailer where the weight is most distributed. use two axle straps on the front and two on the back. its really easy

 

Okay cool. i am going to be up at Bonney lake this evening looking at this trailer i am most likely going to buy.
