That's a good looking XJ, dude!!! Don't be so afraid of dents. If you dump a ton of cash into a Wrangler or a Cherokee for offroad use and ***** Foot around the trails... Was it really worth the money??? Are you really having any fun??? I'm not saying to be a total Idiot and drive too fast and bounce your jeep off of every tree and rock you come too. I consider myself a technical wheeler for the most part. Sometimes the last resort has to be a little too much skinny pedal. Usually a little common sense and picking the line gets me through or over most everything. The first dent hurts the most.
Well buck I have to say my wrangler was worth the 14000$
But thus Cherokee is going t to be so much more fun. I won't be worried about dents and I can learn the technical side of wheeling.
She needs a few things and I am now on the look out.
I need really bad fender flares ( I hope the cops don't get me )
Rock sliders ( trying to get in touch with the guy in Mt Vernon )
Front and rear bumpers would be nice but not needed.
Let's schedule some walker time. I live in Arlington

We will have to get together for a Walker Run as soon as I bring my Jeep back from the sideline. The Jan 7 Walker Run was not very good for me. I tuffed through most of the trails but what started as a bent LCA mount, became a partially...then totally ripped off the axle LCA mount. I'm currentlt building my version of a Homebrew Super D30. Looking forward to seeing that new XJ of yours up close and in action.
Well buck just with the last 12 hrs of having her I have four d her to a great rig. She just does cause I tell her to. Can't wait to get up to walker. I know I can't do it alone cause I do not have a winch

Watching the videos of you towing that stock xj around are hilarious. Way to be a trooper, and showing those newbies what wheelings all about

Right now I'm looking at either the weekend of April 7-8 or April 21-22. I found out I might be coming home from Vegas sooner than originally planned so I might be able to plan a trip sooner. I will keep you posted.
