Quote: Just got word from an old friend of mine that he ran the busy wild very recently. And took his clean built cherokee and after he ran the trail it kinda looked like popcancherokee's jeep. I have pictures of it but dont know how to resize them.
Use Photobucket, edit them an save or replace an post em up. I wana see.

Haha so uh other than the busy are the other trails just as bad for body damage there we've been there 2 or 3 times only doing the busy.....I kinda still need my jeep to be sorta legal because I need four wheel drive to get to work so the spring for sure be looking for another daily I'd take it to elbe but need it to come out alive for now

You could make it through every trail at Elbe except the busy without any body damage. All the hard spots where body damage is likely have bypasses.

David you are more than welcome to join us. I know Tim's rig is not done yet so he wont be there. I think right now we've got 3 cherokees, a Samurai and a Toyota going. We are just doing the regular trails (no busywild). The plan is to leave Bonney Lake at 7:30 so we should be hitting the trails around 9.

dang i mustve done something wrong. i got hit twice. one on each side. though they are both a given. first one i just wasnt paying attention and rubbed against a stump. the other time theres a big rock on the skinny spot on the trail. but ill just blame that on me being a rookie and no rocker guards. sorry for stillin the thread back to the show.

You do have a point. I guess I should have said as long as you have rock sliders you should be able to make it through with no damage. I hit one of my sliders so hard there on Saturday I actually dented it.

Not much to report from our run last weekend. We ran everything except the busy and even ran the rainier vista and gotcha trails backwards on the way down. There was no carnage from anyone in my group except for a broken tranny line. Fortunately I had about 5 quarts in my rig so we fixed the leaking hose, topped off the tranny fluid and were on our way. As I said before I dented my rock slider. Other than that my track bar bracket somehow worked itself loose again, but that is nothing new. We were up there for about 12 hours and it was a great day of wheeling.

Not sure when I'm headed out next. Now that winter is back I need to get some more use out of my Crystal Mountain seasons pass so I will probably be skiing instead of Jeeping for the next couple weeks. I know there are some cherokee guys on here headed out to Elbe on the 19th or 20th, but I probably wont make it back out there any sooner than the 26th.
