I welded a 1/4 plate on top of the perch that was a little longer. Those stock perches are real soft and bend real easy that causes you to get more axle wrap.(if you look at them they will be rounded on both sides not flat)After I did that i have not had a problem with rear drive line and I still carry extra yokes just in case....

I have a lot of work still to do. I am only locked up in the rear. My pa isn't locked up either but he has some better gears than me. I think I'm going to need more than just driving skill on this one I need a parts list of everything that broke with yall so i can make sure not to forget 3 of them all! I will definately let yall know when she is ready though.

Well if you run the busy with us we always carry lots of spare parts. Between popcancherokee and cherokeefever I think they could build an entire cherokee on the trail out of spare parts.

That's very good to know. I've always been the only cherokee out with the guys we wheel with. I'm the baby of the group open front smaller tires that aint swampers. I wish I could afford all the cool stuff for her but I make 9 bucks an hour and not that many hours so I do the best I can with what I have. If and when she goes pa can't take his we only have one trailer and tow rig so I have to sit out which gives us more time to work out the bugs I guess. I'm excited though!!!

An few of us pride are selfs on driving to the trails, wheelin the **** outta are Heeps, then driving are heeps home. Outta 5 years or so of wheelin I`ve only had to be towed or trailer an few times. But that where you learn what spare parts you`ll need to carry alone. P.S It`s good to see an female XJ owner on here.

Just got word from an old friend of mine that he ran the busy wild very recently. And took his clean built cherokee and after he ran the trail it kinda looked like popcancherokee's jeep. I have pictures of it but dont know how to resize them.
