Default Doorless or half doors

Hello I am just wondering if anyone in Washington runs their XJ doorless or with half doors in the summer. I am just wondering because I plan on making some half doors or just running doorless.

Thanks Shane

If your hinges are in good shape then try and go doorless. Mine are not in to great of shape maybe the p.o. got in an accident but anyway they can be difficult to slide the pins back through. Regardless no doors made a huge increase in airflow and it was more comfortable driving in the summer with no a.c.

Cool man thanks for the info I hate how hot it gets in my rig out on the trail during the summer so the extra air flow would be nice.

I was out in the Naches area and ran into a guy who had a doorless XJ and he said he got a ticket for it. I can't remember the reasoning, but he was told that it is illegal to run an xj with no door, but it is not with a wrangler. Unless you trailer it everywhere or dont plan to take your doors off until you get to the trail I would reccomend doing half doors.

It's because wranglers have that lip on the outer edge of the tub on the door way. At least that's what I've been told. 76 F250 with no doors, ticket, 96 wrangler same summer, no tickets.

Maybe because I am from Florida, but I laugh when I hear people say anything about the "heat" in the summers here
