Wish I could have made it, my front axle is acting up, think my locker is letting go. Next time!

well i am all up and running and repaired, ready for another run soon, here are the pics of the damage and the fix

here is how far the leaf spring moved, it was about 6 inches or so

here is the center bolt that broke off and allowed all this damage to occur. i replaced it with a stainless steel grade 8 bolt

messed up leaf spring.

leaf spring taken off and taken apart to be repaired and put back together

leaf spring removed

new bolt installed, leaf spring put back together and repaired

leaf spring re-installed, axle re-centered, all back to normal

bushwackers re-installed and tire is center again!

this took all but 2 hours to do, i did both sides this way. i am now much more confident in the ability of my leaf springs. good upgrade to do for others, especially if you run a locker.
