That Wrangler also took a few pretty hard shots. One to his driver's "Nerf bar" wasn't a rock slider so it damaged it pretty badly. And then another to the rear bumper he showed me.

Yea very true. Ended up taking them off. Going to build or have done actual sliders for it. Hit the rear like fender/quarter panel area thing, an hit the front outside bumper. Tweaked it a bit is all. But still kudos to him. I'm going to armor up an give it a try towards the end of this summer

Yes! Rimrock. Rimrock has the best trails. Ran the busy once, wasnt impressed. When is anyone heading over this direction? My rig won't be done for a few months but it would be a blast to put a trip together.

If you were "not impressed" by the Busy Wild then you won't have fun wheeling with anybody in this group. You are WAY out of our league. We were all pretty humbled by that trail. The first time I ran the Busy Wild I never had to winch one time but, that was in the middle of the summer and it was very dry, and I was still impressed by it. I ran it the first weekend in May this time and it was a totally different and MUCH harder trail.

I'm from Yakima. Kris Froehlich. Had the silver and orange XJ. Before that i had a white and pink one, before that i had a blue and orange one. Before that I had the yellow one. Lol
Don't tell me that I am way out of my league if you don't even know me. Come run some upper rimrock trails where you have to make 3 point turns while on a 45 degree side hill and staring at the edge of a cliff. Then tell me I am out of my league.
I DROVE my daily driver all the way from yakima to Elbe hills in the middle of febuary. Ran the busy wild in that rig. 87 XJ, 7" long arm lift, leaf springs in the rear, only on 33" swampers and ONE front locker. I ran with a few Toyota guys on 40" iroks. (pirate) a lot of rigs broke that day and didn't even make it out. I had to winch twice the whole time, hitting all the trail everyone else did. Made it out of the trail with a little more body damage then when I went in, but I made it. Needless to say, Jeremy and the guys from Pirate were well impressed. I packed the tent in the back of my jeep that next morning and hauled *** on the highway all the way back to yakima.
Yes, I had a blast and the guys were great. I still say I am not impressed. The whole trail is one mud hole after another. Come hang out with me on my next trip up Rimrock. Let's see how out of your league you are.
