hey im wanting to change my brake set up. thinkin of a 96 booster/master cyl. set up to replace mine. anyone have any experience in doing this or have any they need to get rid of?
Well what is your set-up currently? It matters.
My Jeep was an '89 with ABS, so the WJ booster swap was an easier mod for me. If you have ABS your pedal design is totally different than what fits the '96...so it's harder to set-up. WJ boosters are readily available at junkyards, I paid $70 for my booster/MC/ZJ disc prop valve.
FWIW, I love my brakes (when they aren't getting snagged and leaking).

Well then look into the WJ brake booster/MC mod I described. I no longer have ABS, but my last rig was equipped with it stock so the WJ swap was easier. And I swapped everything from that rig into my '88 I have now, which did not come stock with ABS.
