So, whose going wheeling in the PACNORWEST region this weekend and where? I've just finished a bunch of work on my Jeep and I'm Jonesing to get out on a trail.

 

Im thinking about doing an Evans run on Saturday. Last time I was there the only trails that could be run all the way through were the 311 and 102 so it might not be a very long day of wheeling.

 

What was the problem, is the snow still too deep?

 

jeep club was up last weekend and were still only able to run 311 and 102. i would give it another month or so. i will be goin there on a night run on the 27th i will let ya know how the conditions are

 

So, a night run and then dig down to the bonfire spot in the campground again...lol?

 

I will most likely just go up to Walker just to get the some dirt and rocks under my tires. Bounce my new skid plate off a few rocks and see how it holds up. Maybe even get a chance to try my new winch out.

 

Sounds like a plan. The snow at Evans is deeper than usual this time of year. It would be a long drive for you just to run 2 trails. I'm hoping to see how far I can make it up some of the other trails this weekend and will put up a conditions report when I do.

 

haha sounds like everyone i still having a lil trouble with upper evans still. i went second week of april. i we all had some hard times just getting through the lower 311. but i just talked to my buddy who went up yesturday and said the same story. but remember play it safe and wheel with a buddy. no stories about someone making dumb mistakes. but id join ya but im workin on liftin and 33s!!! im so excited. prob guna be a few more weeks till complete. due to parts, shipping and othere stuffs.
