Default 30 spline outer shafts?

I am looking to get an OX locker in the front, so I am going to upgrade the axle shafts.
I went to http://www.alloyusa.com/jeep-front-axle-kits.html and looked at some of theirs. This is the reply I got from my brother when I sent him the link "the one i was thinking was 30 inner and stock 27 outer. but the one on there says see notes 1,2, and 3. The notes say that it comes with new 30 spline unit bearings. You might have to call them to verify the correct part number.
Also, you might want to post on a jeep site about going to the 30 spline outers and bearings. See if they think it's worth the money. Those are new to me, and i dont see the reason for them. They are splined into the wheel bearing and held tight with a nut. I'm not sure how they would break, and if the 30 spline bearing goes out, where the "f" are you going to get a replacement one."
Does anyone know which ones would be best. It's a Dana 30. Thanks

what size tires? im assuming no bigger than 35s? i have never personally seen a dana 30 shaft break (except Brians two piece). its always the u joints that break. if you have a good u joint and try not to beat on it too much i dont really think you need 30 spline outers. and what if you need another hub? i bet those 30 spline hubs arent cheap. and the stock hubs are a dime a dozen. my opinion would be not to worry about going 30 spline

Sounds good. Thanks for the input. Yes, I am planning on running with 35's.
