Default 19mpg+

So I topped off my tank then I drove to tacoma with 3 adults 1 toddler. Once I got there I picked 4 wheels and tires for my silverado. I then I drove to marysville and picked my son. Then back to oak harbor. Then I drove about 30 miles around oak harbor. I totaled 337 miles. I topped off the tank and it tool about 17 gallons which worked out to be just over 19mpg.

I know I am stock except my intake. I know once I get a lift and tires my mpg will go down but I am happy with my gas milage.

15 is still good I think. I have a stock 04 silverado 4.8l v8 bset I got was20mpg. I average about 16mpg. I don't plan on putting 33s and no larger then 4.5 inch lift so if I get down to 15 I will be happy. 13 I can deal with. Lower then that and it will go from a 4 day aweek ride to only when I go wheeling.

Hey Brandon, are you gonna do Tahuya on Saturday? Tampa kind of put the word out first and it has blossomed into about 4-5 rigs may show up, now. You haven't been around in awhile. Is all well with you?

holy crap dude. if I got 19mpg all stock on the highway I would be disappointed. I just added a 4" lift and 31's and I am complaining about getting 17-18 mpg hwy in the mountains.
stock I was getting between 21-24mpg and on a few rare occasions on mostly flat trips with the cruise set I have gotten 25 mpg.

Cool

I want a lower center of gravity. I plan on doing a lot of trimming. Trim to top body line front and back. I know the back has to be welded since there is a pinch seam there. But my last xj I had 32s and no lift. It rubbed a lot but 33s with 4.5 more inches of lift will keep from rubbbing. Also anything larger then 33s and I will have to upgrade axles.

with the 4.5 lift the front needs trimming about 3" but if you leave the rear sway bar attached you just need to bang the pinch seam flat and when you are all the way flexed out the rubbing is minor otherwise no rubbin

If you're saying you were getting 21-24 with a 4.0 liter, I think you'd beter re check your math. I might buy that if you have the 2.5 4 banger.

Now, that I can buy. I was getting 19-20 before the front locker install. Now, I get around 17-18.
