1. Get beer
2. Remove 13 bolts, one in the back with a 3" inch extension w/a wobble
3. Knock loose with manly hands or a hammer.
4. Scrape **** off
5. Install rubber gasket
6. Install in reverse order of disassembly
I understand that there are noobs, but if you don't have the mechanical aptitude to do this job with out looking up a bajillion step guide, maybe you should take it to a mechanic.

This is too frickin funny!!!!
My name is Sean, and I've had a Jeep addiction since '09.
Amen lol.
On another note, I bought my XJ for 900 with 214k, knowing it had small issues that included blinker problems but that didn't stop me from buying it... 4 years later I've rebuilt the engine and transmission. Lol. Glad I didn't take someone else's advice!

You made a simple job into a all day ordeal that involved removing/buying unnecessary parts, and way too many steps. If anything, you're scaring the noobs. Poor things.
You're getting called out on making a terrible write up and giving bad advice.
