Yep, direct bolt on. Just make sure you get the tie rod, the clamp sleeve, and the outer tie rod end.

 

Short answer: yes.

The drag link is the same. The upgrade is the v8 GC Tie Rod. The XJ piece is tube stock where the GC one is solid stock.

 

our local upull salvage is having a half price sale on everything in the yard. me and a bunch of my jeep friends have our tools loaded and are going for the gold. will the 29 spline 8.25 axles fit in my 92 model housing if i change the spiders

 

In order to change from 27 to 29 spline axles you will need the spiders and the carrier. Swapping the carrier will require everything to be properly set up and that cost some cash for the labor. If you find a 29 spline 8.25 just buy the whole axle and swap it in.

 

thats what i thought the swapping is not a prob for me i do them all the time with my racecars just a chevy rearend instead of chrystler

and nice pair of front shocks
