Oh HaHa I was thinking about like airbags for the passenger or in the doors or something. What you said makes sense. Also sounds like my vw no horn and brake fluid goes missing.

Your NOX reading was ok its 24 on the 15mph test and 27 on the 25mph test. Looks like you only failed for HC and CO because its running really rich. Your pcv failed because the hose was cracked the OBD was a false fail by the tech and the thermostatic air cleaner might have been disconnected looking at the pictures it looks like this engine does have one, that's the flexible hose that connects the exhaust manifold to the air cleaner box. I don't know why they failed you under other emission related components unless you have aftermarket parts or it was smoking but it should be documented on the work order.

Honestly only smoke I saw today was the paint burning off then one of my antifreeze hoses was dripping causing a smoke, fixed the hose and let the paint burn off but that was from me don't know what smoke he saw before.fixed the flexible hose to the exhaust manifold.not sure why it's running rich.

It might not have been smoking that's just one reason you can be failed under the other emission category it could also be for aftermarket parts-especially air intakes, disconnected sensors, ect. The tech should have told you why you failed under that category. Running rich is either from too much fuel or not enough air.

I'm thinking air instead of fuel because 2 of my injectors weren't working when I tested them.he said blueish smoke but I didn't see it.

Bye aftermarket parts what would affect the burning rich part? And I put a thermostat in runs at 190-195 that should help right?

By aftermarket parts I mean modified air intakes, throttle body spacers stuff like that. They don't effect much of emissions but will fail a visual if you don't have the correct EO number for the part. Having the correct thermostat will make a difference because if its too low or missing then the vehicle will run cold and the computer will keep trying to richen the mixture because it thinks its still warming up.

Makes sense. An I have no aftermarket parts like that.

My mj passed Cali smog, had custom vac lines, factory intake with a throttle body spacer. I'm glad we don't do safety here. I'm sure I will not pass safety. I can not figure out why I have no reverse lights, just the stupid stuff that I wonder why they look at for safety

In Virginia reverse lights don't have to work for inspection if you remove the bulbs and sockets from housing
