YJ Transfer Case Shifter in XJ

YJ Transfer Case Shifter in XJ
Does anyone know if the old YJ shifter with the NP232 transfer case will fit the NP231 in the XJ? I have a 93 XJ with the AX15 manual tranny and NP231 case. I like the look of the YJ shifter with the shift pattern on the ****. I've already ordered the old double shift boot to put around the shifters. Thanks for any info y'all can provide.
