i searched and went through 12 pages and got bored with reading... true story 
anyways.. i have a 92 xj that the steering pump is squealing like a ***** and well its time to shake it off and replace with better hopefully not new stock parts..
my 00 xj has a wj steering pump and a durango box, i like the way it steers and stuff and was hoping everything would be a direct swap into the 92 like how it was into the 00.
after searching ive read that only on the 96-97+ can you upgrade the pump to a wj style? is that correct?
also since its a 92, does that mean it wouldnt be able to swap to a durango box? i can turn the wheel a good 1/4 turn before anything happens and would like to swap everything this weekend while i have the time..
