Yellow box under the dash

My wife has a 1990 Cherokee and I'm doing some work under the dash and noticed a plastic yellow box that has some adjustments on either side. One side says sensitivity adj. The other side says low speed s.w. adj. and centering adj. Can someone shine some light on what this is.

Ok would this be a cause of the cruise control not working.

not really........ check under the hood for any broken vac lines, the speed sensor on the tranny, the switch at the steering column, and check the vac control unit that hooks to the throttle body.
