Default xj squeaking noise

There is a squeaking noise coming from the rear of my cherokee when I go over bumps. I've been driving with it for a while it just sounds like something small inside the car that needs some WD 40 but I dont know what it is. Anyone have an idea?

I have a similar "squeak". Mine is in the back driver side of the car. I just haven't had time to make someone drive it while i search it out. I am curious what people will suggest it is.

I have a squeak in the back left of mine that is absolutely TERRIBLE at highway speeds. I'm with GRohr - been too lazy to scope it out with someone else driving it.

I'm about to wd40 the entire truck at this point either way....it's drivin me nuts.

Two options:
1. Put someone in the back, drive it, & have them isolate the noise.
2. Kick out the jamz.

Mine ended up being one of the top bolts on my rear shock was lose and just needed tightening. The other one was still tight though but now the noise is gone

The connection where the top of your back seat goes in that mount. Does the top of your back seat wiggle around by hand
