Does the 97 have a larger capacity tank?

A friend is junking out his 89 Wagoneer, and it has a 25 gallon tank. He says we should install it on my 1993 Cherokee Sport (which only has 20 Gallon). Does anyone know if there will be any issues with fit, or wiring?
