Default XJ lift, is it factory?

I have several XJ's, one with a lift. It's name is Big Silvia and it is a 2001 Cherokee Classic. It has several options that I think are "factory". Based on these really cool options, and research when i first got it, I have believed the lift was a "factory" option called upcountry suspension. Now I need bushings replaced in the front lower suspension arm, and the bushings that come in don't fit my jeep, Big Silvia. They would fit my other two XJ's of the same year. So......my big jeep, Big Silvia, has suspension arms that are made of round stock. The other jeeps have arms made of channel stock. Here's a couple questions I hope someone can answer: does the 2001 XJ have a "factory" lift option that could lift my jeep about 3 inches? If so, would that modification replace the original front lower suspension arms with replacements as described above?

This jeep has stolen my heart and I want to keep it in tip top shape. If the lift is not factory, then my love for it is misguided, based on a lie I told myself years ago. Jeep love is a powerful force, but a non factory lift could send me to the Dark Side.

I'm new to this "posting Threads", so let me know what more I need to include.

The UpCountry package was only 1 1/2" lift.
I haven't paid much attention to my control arms, but I'm pretty sure they stamped metal and not tubular.
Better get the tape measure out and check your height.
I honestly do not remember where I seen the numbers for stock height and lifted but I did see it here someplace.

Looks like I need to be prepared for disappointment. My original research indicated upcountry could lift up to 3 inches. I don't know how/where to measure, and it almost does not matter. I just don't understand all the really cool factory stuff, and then the lift is not??? I hope to get a different answer, because the next thing will be to try to get a number off the arm, to indentify the proper bushing.

The really cool factory stuff is Rampage blue headlights, AM/FM/CD Jeep radio, 16 inch Jeep aluminum alloy wheels. How does it come with 16 inch Jeep wheels, and the lift kit is not factory. I don't understand.

Yeah xjs never came form the factory lifted 3 inches or having blue Rampage lights. Some did come with factory 16" rims.(The 00-01 Classics being one of them) I think that the person that sold it to you had the lift and such put on, like freegdr stated.

Go to the link above and request a Factory Build Sheet from Jeep. They will send you a list of everything your Jeep left the factory with.

Theres an XJ with a Up Country setup.
You can compare it to yours, and look at the other rides and you might find one with similar spacing to yours.

Thanks, I will try to retrace my research from a couple years ago, the printouts on options, the original dealership etc... It was a long time ago, but I know I made copies. I still believe I found these were options offered by Jeep, the last two years they made Cherokees. I'll let you know after vacation. I will persue arm bushings as aftermarkets.

I'll be in the woods a for a week, but after that, maybe i can post a picture. I'll need to figure out how.

I added a front and rear trailer hitch, and I carry a Warn Winch Pull pack, inside, that attaches to the trailer hitches, front or back.

She's a high stepping lady with a lot of class.

Caish, that upcountry pic looks about the same amt of lift as mine, so I will hold out that there is hope. I want it to be factory, I just don't know why it has those round susp. arms.

When I got it it had tires that were 265's. Boy! was that tall.

The front hitch looks great, but Big Silvia has never gotten stuck enough to use the winch.
