Unplug it, and turn the key on and if the voltage , or gas gauge displays correctly replace CPS. Unplugging and reconnecting the Cps sensor where it connects to main harness near the back of the intake manifold usually resets the ECU and if jeep fires right up after doing this the CPS is bad

So heres the deal... I checked the idle air sensor, throttle position sensor, map sensor, throttle body, and the crankshaft position sensor, all were good. That lead me to think fuel pump, so i wired it hot and the pump ran so i got in, fired it right up. that leads me to think it has something to do with the relays so i swapped a few of them around, STILL nothing. i dont want to rig it up with the fuel pump on a switch. when it was running though, it was idling at around 1500 rpms or so. I need HELP!

and NOW the key is stuck in the ignition in the ON position, my day is progressively getting worse. I checked the voltage on all the relay terminals and it was good and the resistance in the actual relays were right where they need to be. fml

i was getting power coming from the relay but the valtage at the pump was almost unmeasurable. i spliced a hot wire into the factory harness and put a toggle on the dash and now its running great! The idle was way too high but i just had the tps adjusted wrong
