Hey everyone! Just wanted to see if anyone has had this problem, my heater doesnt get hot... Already did the simple fix of new thermostat but unfortunately that did not fix the issue. My temp gauge never gets to half, usually stays right about 3/8ths or so maby a little less. I have been thinking about just swapping out the heater core but its not an easy job to do, the only reason im hesitant about swapping it out is usually if the heater core is bad it drips coolant all over the cab.
I appreciate any help you guys can give me!!

My first thought is your heater core has gone out and yes it is a PITA to replace. It wouldnt always have to leak to be bad, it could also be clogged up real bad not allowing it to have the hot coolant pass through it there by not allowing your heater to produce hot air. Good Luck!!
